Kristen Juszczak of Chamber Insurance Agency Services was installed as NJYIP president for 2007-2008, at the PIANJ/PIANY Joint Annual Conference, located at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, Atlantic City, held June 10-12. Other officers for coming year include Lynda Blanchfield Drucker of E&K Agency Inc., vice president; Frank Raab of T.E. Freuler Agency Inc., treasurer; and Josh Batushansky of The Barclay Group, secretary.

Lynda Blanchfield Drucker was awarded the Director of the Year award and Patti Smith, CIC, CPIW of DeWitt Stern Group, NJYIP immediate past president, received the Distinguished Service award at the Annual Business Meeting. At the YIP Luncheon on June 11, Charles J. Caruso, CIC, CPIA, of Herbert L. Jamison & Co. LLC, was named New Jersey Young Insurance Professional of the Year. Coryn Thalmann, CIC, CPIA, of Jimcor Agencies, was the recipent of the Tri-State Alliance Award, presented by Connecticut, New York and New Jersey Young Insurance Professionals.

At Sunday evening’s YIP Nitecap Reception, sponsored by Magna Carta Cos., Shawn Cain, NY-YIP chairperson, presented Kristen Juszczak, NJYIP president, a gavel and sounding block, engraved with the names of all past presidents, to commemorate the NJYIP 20th anniversary.
